DANIEL KAPLAN
Director of MTA & Torani Programs, Hachshara Department; and Head of the South Africa Desk
Daniel Kaplan grew up in South Africa, involved in Bnei Akiva as a chanich.
He then went on MTA and stayed Shana bet at Yeshivat Har Etzion and returned to South Africa and took up numerous positions in Bnei Akiva Johannesburg, from Chairman to Rosh Machaneh to National Chairman.
He went on the Mizrachi South African leadership program to get smicha and came back on shlichut to South Africa which he did for 7.5 years.
Daniel was the Rav Shaliach of Bnei Akiva South Africa, he also held the position of Menahel in Yeshiva College Boys High School.
For the last couple of years, he has been the executive director of Mizrachi South Africa.
He returned back to Israel with his wife Andy, son Yishai and daughters Shani and Liyah in December 2020.
Rav Kaplan has been working at the World Bnei Akiva head office in Jerusalem since 2021.
