Director, Bogrim Department
Efrat became the first ever female Deputy Director of World Bnei Akiva in 2021. She has been Director of our Bogrim Department since 2019. Prior to that she was the Head of the European Desk between 2013-2019, serving as the main liaison for our work in Austria, Belgium, Finland, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey (France, Germany and the UK have separate liaisons).
Efrat grew up within the Bnei Akiva movement in Jerusalem. For her Sherut Leumi she served for Bnei Akiva in Kfar Etzion one year, and her second year in Stockholm, Sweden.
Efrat was the Shlicha for World Bnei Akiva in Stockholm, Sweden between 1998-2001, and then in Melbourne, Australia between January 2012 and August 2013.
Efrat studied Hebrew Literature and Jewish History at Bar-Ilan University.
Efrat has been working for World Bnei Akivas Jerusalem headquarters since 2013.
