
ARIEL CHESNER
Deputy Director and Resource Development & Projects
Ariel Chesner serves as Deputy Secretary General of World Bnei Akiva, the largest Religious Zionist youth movement in the world.
In this role, Ariel leads global strategy and operations, working to strengthen Jewish identity, Zionist commitment, and Aliyah among Jewish youth across 42 countries.
Ariel brings a wealth of experience in Jewish organizational leadership. He previously served as Director of Development and Alumni at World Bnei Akiva, where he tripled the organization's annual income and directed Camp Sayarim in Europe. Most recently, he served as Director of the Center for Religious Affairs in the Diaspora at the World Zionist Organization, developing and funding global Jewish and Zionist programming worldwide.
A proud product of the Religious Zionist world, Ariel studied at Yeshivat Har Etzion, served as a combat soldier in the Givati Brigade, and was a Torah MiTzion Shaliach in Montreal, Canada. He holds an LLB and a B.A. in Far Eastern Languages and Culture from Bar Ilan University, and is a member of the Israel Bar Association.
Ariel lives in Gedera with his wife Ephrat and their five children.
