YOAV COHEN HADAD
Deputy Director & Head of Shlichut Department
Yoav is the Deputy Director of World Bnei Akiva and the Head of the Shlichut Department, playing a crucial role in managing and overseeing the operations of our organization. With his extensive experience in education and community building.
Growing up in Ashdod, Yoav was involved in Bnei Akiva as both a chanich and a madrich. He later obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Education and Master’s degree in Talmud, which provided him with a solid foundation in Jewish education and scholarship. Yoav subsequently worked in the Rabbanut, then served as a shaliach for Torah Mitzion in Memphis, USA in 2006. He then worked for nine years as the head of the Shlichut Department in the Torah Mitzion office.
Today Yoav lives in Elazar with his wife and five children.
He speaks both Hebrew and English.
Yoav has been working for World Bnei Akiva since 2021.
