World Bnei Akiva ("we", "us", "our") is the global Religious Zionist youth movement, registered in Israel. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website at worldbneiakiva.org or apply to one of our programs.

  • Contact and enquiry forms (via Wix, 123FormBuilder, and Google Forms): name, email address, phone number, country, and any information you choose to provide.

  • Program applications (via Regpack): name, date of birth, nationality, school, contact details, parental information, and other details required to process your application.

  • Email subscriptions (via Brevo): name and email address.

  • Donations (via JGive): name, contact details, and payment information processed by JGive.

  • Website usage data: pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics tools (see Section 5).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide information about our programs.

  • To process program applications and manage participant enrollment.

  • To send you newsletters, program updates, and event invitations (only where you have subscribed or given consent).

  • To process donations.

  • To improve our website and understand how visitors use it.

  • To run targeted advertising campaigns on platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google, where you have consented to marketing cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Program applicants and participants: retained for 5 years following last engagement with World Bnei Akiva programs.

  • Email subscribers: retained until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.

  • Website enquiries: retained for 5 years.

  • Analytics data: retained according to each platform's default settings (typically 26 months for Google Analytics).

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Right to rectification: You can ask us to correct inaccurate data.

  • Right to erasure: You can ask us to delete your personal data, subject to certain conditions.

World Bnei Akiva is based in Israel. Israel is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection. Some of our third-party service providers (such as Google and Meta) are based in the United States and transfer data internationally under standard contractual clauses or other approved mechanisms.

Our programs serve young people from age 12 upwards. Where we collect personal data from individuals under the age of 16, we require parental or guardian consent in accordance with GDPR requirements. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verified parental consent.
