Irgun/Etzel

1931

Operating during the British Mandate, the Irgun was a right-wing underground organisation supprted by non-socialists in Israel and founded by previous Haganah members. They performed violent operations against the British Mandate and were vehemently anti-Arab. Their operations where some of the most controlled and bold missions, famously blowing up a wing of the King David Hotel in 1946.
