On August 1, 2014, two hours after Hamas agreed to a cease-fire during Operation Protective Edge, terrorists ambushed three Israeli soldiers from a tunnel. The terrorists killed two of them and shot and abducted Hadar Goldin, a Lieutenant in the Givati Brigade. Hamas continues to hold Hadar’s body.
