DAPHNA REFAELI
Director, Hachshara Department
Daphna is the Director of the Hachshara (Israel programs) Department, overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive educational programs. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she made aliyah to Israel in 2005 and has been involved in Bnei Akiva in the United States and Israel, serving as both a chanicha and a madricha.
Daphna spent a year at Midreshet Nishmat and holds a degree in Logistics Economics and Management from Bar Ilan University. Her professional background includes roles such as the Operations and Logistics Manager in the Special Projects Department at ALYN Hospital in Kiryat Yuval. She was also the program coordinator of Camp Amichai and a madricha for one of the gap year programs in 2013-2014.
Daphna has been part of the World Bnei Akiva family since 2013, serving in various roles, including as a discussion moderator at World Bnei Akiva's Veida Conference. She most recently held the position of head of limmud from 2021-2023 before being promoted to the director of the Hachshara department in 2024.
Currently residing in Har Hamad in Kedumim, Daphna lives with her husband and three children. She is fluent in both English and Hebrew
