European Shlichim Conference in Rome
A few weeks ago, all of the Bnei Akiva Shlichim in Europe gathered together for our yearly 'Kenes Shlichim', this time in Rome, Italy. This was the first time that the shlichim of Torah MiTzion and Ben Ami from the World Zionist Organization joined our annual conference as well. The "united strength" gave our Shlichim the inspiration to continue pursuing their goals and mission during their Shlichut.
כנס שליחים ברומא
בחודש החולף התכנסו ברומא כל שליחי בני עקיבא באירופה. לראשונה הצטרפו לכנס גם שליחי תורה מציון ושליחי בן עמי של ההסתדרות הציונית. "עוצמת הביחד" העניקה לשליחים כוח להמשך השליחות.
Hanukkah Caravan
For two weeks, daily, throughout the month of Kislev, our Shlichim in Germany traveled to many different communities in order to lead activities for the local children. They prepared activities such as a dreidel themed art project, a Chanukah escape room as well as a shiur for the parents. The Shlichim came with sufganiyot in hand, dreidels, and lit the Chanukah candles together with the communities. Even though the holiday itself hadn’t yet begun, it got everyone extremely excited.
קרוואן חנוכה בגרמניה
כל יום במהלך כשבועיים בחודש כסלו, שליחינו בגרמניה נסעו לקהילה אחרת והעבירו פעילות לילדים שכללה יצירה של סביבון מדבר, פעילות לנוער- חדר בריחה בנושא חנוכה, וכן שיעור להורים. השליחים הגיעו לקהילות עם סופגניות וסביבונים וערכו הדלקת נרות למרות שהחג עצמו עדיין לא הגיע, והכניסו אווירה מחממת ללבבות.
Australia Conference
During the weekend of November 23rd, the annual RZOA (Religious Zionist Organisation of Australia) conference was held at Mizrachi in Melbourne, Australia. This was a great opportunity for all of our Shlichim in Australia and New Zealand to come together in order to recharge. During the conference the Shlichim were able to share ideas and prepare for future events. They also had an inspirational talk with Rav Yosef Zvi Rimon, the event's guest speaker.
כנס אוסטרליה
כנס ה- RZOA השנתי נערך במזרחי מלבורן בסוף נובמבר. היתה זו הזדמנות נהדרת עבור כל השליחים באוסטרליה ובניו זילנד להתקבץ ולהיטען באנרגיות. במהלך הוועידה הצליחו השליחים לשתף רעיונות ולהתכונן לאירועים עתידיים. הם גם ניהלו שיחה מעוררת השראה עם המרצה האורח, הרב יוסף צבי רימון.
זריקת מרץ רוחנית מארץ ישראל
ליווי רוחני של השליחים הצעירים הוא אחד מהיעדים שהצבנו השנה. לשם כך שלחנו לצפון אמריקה את הרב נעם פרל , מזכ"ל בני עקיבא לשעבר, שבמשך שבוע הסתובב בין הקהילות פגש את השליחים הצעירים ובנות השירות, למד איתם תורת ארץ ישראל והעניק להם חמצן רוחני מארץ ישראל.
Injection of spiritual energy from the Land of Israel
Spiritual support for our young Shlichim is one of the goals we set for ourselves this year. To this end we sent Rav Noam Perl, former Secretary General of World Bnei Akiva, to North America for a week among the communities, meeting the young Shlichim and Sherut Leumi girls, studied Torat Eretz Yisrael with them, giving them spiritual oxygen from Eretz Israel.

These past few months have been filled with numerous summer and winter camps around the world.
Each and every camp is an overflowing resevoir of Zionist and Jewish experiences, all in the spirit of Bnei Akiva.
There is one camp in particular that I would like to acknowledge which is the Machane in South Africa.
This past year was the largest camp ever, with over 900 campers and 250 staff members.
What makes this camp in particular, so special, is that while consisting of hundreds of campers to care for, it is run completely by the local teenagers who took it upon themselves to take charge of the next generation of chanichim.
This is the power of our movement!
